Things you NEED

* Abstain from all wheat, processed sugars (HFCS, fruit juice, pure sugar in general), bread, milk - If you want actual recovery, this is non-negotiable. Treat all these foods as rat poison. They elicit the exact opposite of all the above defined factors in recovery. If upon looking at these foods you do not feel the same sensation as when you look at a pile of freshly steamed tramp's vodka vomit, then your recovery will take a bit longer or it may never happen at all. Once every week or month from one of the list is OK. Any more often is creating/reinforcing disease.
If you want to know why I say this do a simple experiment. Go to the supermarket and get all of the above foods and make a sickly meal out of it. Eat the whole thing. When you are finished crying in pain a few days later, you may continue, now knowing the truth of this advice. You might feel disappointed, because when you walk into a supermarket 90% of the "foods" will contain these things. Reality is that you should never have walked into the disease-market in the first place! The mere fact your feet are stepping foot in these places is a sign of the negative karma you carry on your shoulders, the same way a man entranced by lust finds his feet walking himself to the strip club.
* A hefty green smoothie composed of folate & other vitamin rich foods e.g. spinach, broccoli, wheatgrass, barleygrass, spirulina, chlorella. A spinach + broccoli smoothie a day is a good place to start from, simple, cheap, quick, easy
* Omega 3 oil... I found Cod Liver Oil is the best, even better than Krill oil or standard Omega 3 capsules
* Coconut oil - will keep the negative symptoms offline so you can think clearly while recovering; 10-20g/day is more than enough; add to your smoothie
* Choline, enough of it. Look into Lecithin!
* Vitamin D3 oil gels, Vitamin B3 as Niacin, B6 as P-5-P, Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium, B12 as methylcobalamin - All of these vitamins mediate the above, in conjunction with Folate. Get these vits in your system and you will be functioning, not merely recovering.
Things which will help

* Noopept will regenerate neurons, I consider it as the main driving factor in my own recovery
* Piracetam, do not combine with Noopept unless you feel good doing so
* Green tea - will repair memory deficit
* L-tyrosine + L-tryptophan (rebuilds neurotransmitters, anti-anhedonic)
* ALCAR
* N-Acetyl-Cysteine (eradicates negative symptoms)
* Tulsi tea (neuroinflammation inhibitor)
The holy grail of recovery from psychosis? All of the above (or at least what is needed), plus Ayahuasca WITHOUT admixtures. Just pure B. Caapi or Syrian Rue on its own. Meditate on this substance and allow it to heal you and show you the negative habits which created your psychosis in the first place. Ayahuasca targets neurotoxic metabolites of Kynurenic acid which plays a significant part in creating negative symptoms of psychosis. The NMDA action of ayahuasca also completely balances the glutamate-dopamine imbalance. Better anti-psychotic than anything you will get on the market. A low dose is all it takes, 5-20g/day of caapi vine or 3g syrian rue every 2-3 days. Avoid mixing with Noopept.
It seems ayahuasca is directly anti-schizophrenic. There is no other herb or substance I have found which fits psychosis as a key to a door or glove to a hand, Iboga comes very close in its own ways however.
Really you must let go of your diseased thinking and habits. They are what create the psychosis, the nutrition is a direct result of holding these habits but the nutrition is the bullet that enters. Your diseased thinking/habits are the choice to pull the trigger. Diseased thinking makes a human being choose to eat steaming stinky shit in preference to sweet sensual strawberries and then the person will claim that they actually like the taste of shit.
I promise you, there is a kind of harshness to your life which 99% of the population does not have. It is self-imposed punishment for some kind of trauma. 99% of the population does not do this, they go very easy on themselves and consequently do not experience psychosis. Of course they might go too easy on themselves and act as assholes but that is irrelevant here. Point is, you are being overly tough on yourself. You have not given yourself permission to feel good. Give your Self permission to feel good and permission to relax.
The bare essentials:
* Green smoothie a day
* A little Caapi/Rue tea (microdose or macrodose, doesn't matter)
* Meditation in a green plant-filled space
The medical system's treatise on psychosis is mostly bullshit. I'm smoking pot like Cheech'n'Chong and dropping Sid like a mofo (relatively speaking anyway), drugs have very little to do with psychosis. It's nutritional in origin, and the nutritional deficit is psycho-spiritual in origin. These drugs merely amplify what is already present bringing latent schizophrenia to the forefront. The nutritional issues are what CAUSE the psychosis, the drugs acting as a catalyst.
Above all inhibit inflammation and promote neurogenesis. Inflammation is present as an experience of hot fog in the brain/body, a sensation of something having a vice-grip on your mind unwilling to let go. Eliminate all things that create this sensation until piece by peace you wake up with ever-increasing clarity and feeling of release. Day by day, release the fetters that chain your mind.
While spirituality points to all sorts of flavors of consciousness they seem to me to be temporary and you can get there whenever you like with meditation or drugs but you must "come down" so to speak. I don't think I'd be able to function if I was totally blissed out all the time, like how would I drive the car? haha
I can assure you it is very possible to function in daily Samadhi. But the foundation of virtuous habit you need will not be found in the schizophrenic mentality, nor in the overwhelming majority of persons' habits. Zen masters sit on mountains for a good reason! Why do you need the car, to drive to work. Why do you need the work, to earn money. Why do you need the money, to earn more sweet saltwater to quench your ravenous thirst for Maya.
